Shouldn’t every day be a worldwide holiday of love? Not just romantic love, but brotherly love, sisterly love, love of all creatures of this majestic earth.

On canceled school days, this is nice! And even though I have a paper to write I am relaxed for now. It’s moments like this when Vonnegut comes to mind: “if this isn’t nice I don’t know what is”.

quoteJust as there can be no big social change without music, there can be none without words and phrases that first create a dream of change in our heads. But it’s one of the ironies of trying to be a writer and an activist at the same time that just when you feel you have the most to say, you have the least time to say it.

I’ll just have to bear with it for now.
